All cottages are AMAZING and individually private, yet mingle together on 7 blocks of green, lush land, making an ideal venue for family reunions, friends get- togethers or family birthday or anniversary celebrations. It's a real treat for children of all ages.

You may rent just one cottage for a romantic and fun weekend away or all the cottages for large groups. You can sleep up to 34 - 36 guests between the 4 cottages.

*Sorry, NO HEAD-BANGING LOUD MUSIC OR TEENAGE DRINKING PARTIES ALLOWED!

All cottages come with fully equipped laundries and kitchens!
You will be surprised by the amount of crockery, platters and appliances. 

All have gas BBQ'S, entertaining areas, air conditioning - both cooling and heating,  dvd's and videos for you to watch, books to read, toys, games  and dress ups for the kids, 

Pets cost $6 per pet, per night, drinking bowls provided  

 

Linen can be supplied with your bed made up on arrival for $20 per head

 

Coochiemudlo has TENNIS COURTS at the recreational grounds.

A gorgeous 9 hole GOLF COURSE, only $15 for 18 holes!!! CHILDREN PAY ONLY $6
You can hire tinnies for FISHING on the bay, PADDLE BOATS, KYAKS from Adam at Main Beach. 

You can even  hire a BBQ pontoon boat for entertaining in the bay!

Coochiemudlo Island is in Moreton Bay, just off Victoria Point, which is only 35km from Brisbane city

 

The car barge takes only 15 minutes to get to Coochiemudlo Island from Victoria Point Jetty in Masters Avenue and only costs $40 return!

The passenger ferry leaves every half hour, takes approximately 8 minutes and costs $6.80 return for adults, $3.40 for children, no charge for Tiny Tots. 

 

 

There is a big shopping centre which caters for all your needs on the way to Coochie, at the corner of Colburn Ave and Cleveland-Redland Bay Rd, just 5 minute drive from ferry.

 

There is also a Cinema complex close by on the other corner complex. 

 

A good selection of cafes and  restaurants in the shopping complex at Victoria Point.

 

There are buses that run every hour from Victoria Point Jetty to Shops and Cinema.

 

We have a corner Store for basic daily needs, great hamburgers too!

 

There is NO BOTTLE SHOP ON THE ISLAND, so please bring your own supplies!!

 

We have a Cafe which is open for lunch and dinner and provides take away meals

 

The Mad Mango is a great restaurant on Coochie, has really good brunches on a Sunday morning.

HOW TO GET TO COOCHIE
From Brisbane City
Drive to Victoria Point,  east of Brisbane. Take the Klump Rd exit from the M1 and keep heading east. Follow the signs to Redland Bay (but don't go to Redland Bay) eventually you will see signs to Victoria Point. Turn  right at the last roundabout, left into Colburn Ave and follow your nose to the bay!

From the Gold Coast

Take the Redland Bay Rd-Cleveland exit, turn right, follow it through till you come to Mt Cotton Rd and turn left into it. Eventually turn right into Double Jump Rd when you come to it. Keep to the left, eventually it will turn into Bunker Rd, then Colburn Ave, then at the end turn right into Masters Ave where you will see the barge and the Jetty.

From the  Airport and Sunshine Coast

You can catch a bus from Brisbane City to Victoria Point Jetty. You can also catch a train from the Airport or the City to Cleveland Station, then a bus or cab to Victoria Point Jetty.

 
PARKING
You may park  down near  the ferry terminal in Masters Avenue, for 18hours or less, or up above (opposite the Rock and Roll fish Cafe)  for however long you would like. There is also secure parking available at the end of Colburn Ave, on the left hand side. $10 for the first night, the $5 per night onwards. Ring John and Joan for a booking,  07 32076246.

$220 per night, 2 night minimum, weekends
$110 per night, 4 nights midweek, Monday to Thursdays

3 bedrooms, (2 bedrooms down stairs and 4 boat beds for kids in loft!)
And you may sleep up  to 10 people, $20 pn each extra person,
using the sofa bed in lounge or single fold out beds.

$180 per night, 2 night minimum, weekends

You may sleep up to 9 people, @ $17 pn each extra person,
using double sofa bed and 2 day beds in lounge room.

THE LOCHIEL          Sleeps 4,

$165 per night, 2 night minimum, weekends

$83 per night, 4 nights, midweek Monday to Thursdays

Works in well with 2.20 barge (2.00pn barge on Saturdays)
For weekend bookings, the car barge runs late until 7.00pm and the walk on passenger ferry operates 'till 11.30pm. making it easy to come after work!!

CHECK OUT: 10.00am
If you would like a late check out on Sundays, for an added $50 you are welcome to stay until 5.15pm. Last car bearge leaves 5.20pm

WHAT TO PACK
All grocereis and drinks!
Casual clothes and shoes, old play clothes for the kids as they get filthy over here
"HAVING FUN", beach or swim shoes is a good idea, beach towel, hat, rain coat or
 umbrella, torch, your favourite dvds etc
**If you have not requested linen to be supplied, you must bring tea towels, hand towels, bath  towels, sheets pillow slips and bath mats. Pillows and blankets are provided!
Please bring insect repellent, mosquito coils and raid refills for the raid table lantern (if you choice to use it)

You may ring between 9.00am and 11,00am Monday to Friday

I require a 50% deposit for weekends or up to 4 nights
and specials, 30% for  longer stays.  All deposits must be paid within 48 hours
by internet- transfer banking or bank branch deposit. Sorry, no credit cards at this stage!
Final payments are due 14 days prior to arrival. If booking less than 3 days 'till your arrival, your full payment must be made immeditely. A refundable bond is also required.
