HOW TO GET TO COOCHIE..
EASY....It is a very pleasant and simple 40 minute drive from Brisbane's CBD to Victoria Point Jetty (Masters Ave), then a short but gorgeous 7 minute ferry ride across the bay from the mainland (Victoria Point Jetty ) and you will arrive at beautiful Coochiemudlo Island.
If you choose to catch the passenger ferry it leaves every half hour starting from 5.30am week days and 6.30am on week ends at a cost of $6 return. It runs late each night 'till 11pm.
Or alternatively, if it is more convenient you can bring your car across to Coochie on the vehicle barge for $35 return. The Barge makes approximately 12 runs a day starting from 6.40am and usually stops at 5pm. It runs later on a Friday, until 7pm, making it easier if want to come after work for the weekend!
